alignment has been checked through out and tires are in great shape

as much as I've driven it after having the them replaced, I think it's safe to say that it was definitely the u-joints. You had to use a hammer to tap the drivers side to move one of the axis.

Changed the differential fluid Saturday. Was dark grey for the most part, little milky brown here and there. I noticed half the bolts were very loose. I'll be getting the rear end this coming weekend. For some reason mine took just over 2 3/4 quarts to fill. Pretty sure it's a 10 bolt corporate. Is that an indication of something else I need to fix? I don't see any leaks anywhere.
