Probably the same pieces from the same maker. You should be able to find them cheaper tho. And welcome to GMSB.

That's just a different less evasive style.

No, the brace is missing. Scroll down on ORD's page.

The OP is showing a weld-on frame repair kit... which we all need even if our frame is still intact. But also need the bolt in brace for maximum
bashibility.

If you're not actually working the beast off road, with bigger tires and all, the bolt in brace wouldn't be so important.

Yes yes I just have the weld on stuff. I'm not playing on rocks just a bunch of 4 wheel tire spinning so it will suffice. I paid 20 for mine off CL it was in its original box from 20 years ago lol so shouldn't be made of Chinesium

I just plated the area on my square by fabbing up my own pieces. There was a small hairline crack which led to the repair. I also drilled a hole at the end of the crack before welding and plated the area. The center cross piece is not a bad idea especially if excessively flexing these otherwise weak frames. Better yet...if mine where 4x4, I would opt to completely box the front end of the frame

I've already boxed in the front half of the frame and cut out a piece of 3/16ths to fish plate the outside by the steering box, but am debating on just getting one of these kits rather than heating and beating the plate to fit. Does anyone know how thick the plate is in these rough county and smittybilt kits?

I'm going to drill the holes out and put a 1" tube with a 1/2" center in and weld it in on both sides of the frame and run longer bolts through.
