So my local scrap yard was just shut down by the Govmint. Armed folks toting assault rifles, full body armor, and talking ****. They had a govmint driller with them to do test holes. It did not end well for the yard, or the driller. No permit to drill said the State. The state decided to stand down, lol! Good times.

Not junkyard finds, but I've been finding all kinds of goodies in the barns at the new house. Pictured is some center caps for the '99+ aluminum wheels, a selection of wiper arms, a 90's underhood storage box, a nice W/T grille, a busted dash with a nice under dash cup holder, an old Hurst V-Matic shifter, an aluminum Edelbrock water pump, a new reduction type starter and a pair of Dodge power mirrors that should retrofit nicely in place of Dumbo mirrors.

Not pictured is a slew of other random GMT 400 parts, several GM truck wheels, about 30-40 decent tires, several bins of new hardware, and a locked up TBI 350 that has a complete serpentine belt setup.

Oh yeah, I forgot there's also a bunch of '69 Chevelle parts in the basement. Dash cluster, arm rests, a bunch of trim, floor shifter, side glass, front and rear windows, etc. Plus an unidentified floor console that looks really familiar. There's also an old Huffy bicycle.

Banana seat!!.

There was a guy in town that a friend of a friend told me about, that was working on restoring a 69 chevelle, and was having the hardest time finding parts. Dont know the guy, but maybe I could get in touch, and get you a buyer...

If you get a chance, could you get a picture of that 69 Chevelle dash cluster?

Yep, sure can. I looked at it briefly, I think it's a bit rough from sitting in a damp basement for 30+ years.

Here's some pictures, along with the other parts. The dash bezel is broken and the cluster (idiot lights) is very rough I'd say. Ayden @AyWoSch Motors currently has pending dibs on the other parts.

@Catbox the console i think is for a '75+ Nova... can you confirm? I think the open area in the front is where the gauges would go. Back when I had my '78 Nova, I would have walked on hot coals for that thing.

Looks like it could very well be the one.

Thank you for the pictures, bucket. Yeah, I see where the piece under the radio is broke off.
Mine is in good shape, except someone drilled 2 holes in the rectangular panel above the Heater controls to put in 2 toggle switches that weren't even connected to anything since I've owned the car.
I wish that panel was removeable, but it's not. It would be pretty hard to cut that piece out, and graft it to mine.

They're different like K5 bumpers or Suburban bumpers way cuter and more sporty than truck bumpers, ya.
Van bumpers are good- not steppy at all :nono:

I dont know everything about bumpers there is to know and havent stopped wanting to revisit this and add pix.
:waytogo:

These are 1975 Blazer bumpers on a 77 C20.
See? All round and cute? Not steppy at all.
I thought VAN BUMPERS were the same as these pictured.

And I had to jump back!
And quote myself!
Good gawd!

Gotta love how trees grow in some of theses vehicles. I remember yarding a suburban out of the Bush and trees had grown up through the lower control arms and through the springs.
