I'm in the final stages on my 89 crew cab 3+3. I want to get some real tough, comfortable seat covers for my front seats. It's the buckets, no headrests, with the center seat with the flip down console.

Anyone got a recommendation for seat covers you've put through the wringer and have held up?

I'm going with blue marine grade vinyl on my stock bench. A friend of our has an upholstery business so when wife and I go to Las Vegas in December, I'm going to leave it with her to do. I know vinyl will be hot, but when I get my AC retrofitted to 134, I will be good.

A/c doesn't help the initial burning of the skin from the sun baked vinyl... doesn't really help anyways, maybe the rest of ya other than the backside.

Ill never go to vinyl or leather. Dont forget the blistering cold in winter. Cloth is so much more forgiving.

I understand that, but my cloth seat has split in the seams. Not sure how old it is but may change my mind later, lol

I plan to go with leather, durable and classy look. Will add a seat cover for hunting with the mutt.

Thatnks for the replies, folks. I'll probably decinde for sure what I'm doing, sometime this winter, since it will probably take me that long to get the rest of the interior done.

Neoprene, wet suit material wife has them in her 2018 GMC Sierra, still look new after 60000 miles of pups and us. I like Square Roots cover craft as well. Neoprene is nice to set on. Has some grip so no sliding around, waterproof Selling point for the dogs.

There are new synthetic materials that are as durable as vinyl or leather, but don’t feel like hot plastic. I would think an upholsterer would have a catalog to get them from, if you are getting custom made covers.

Any of you guys have a the front bucket seats with the flip-down console in the middle? I'm trying to find some covers that will fit that particular seat configuration.
