Not bein a dick at 80..but
1988 Blazer is not called a K5, it is a V10 and therefore not a K5. It's even on the title.
I spoke to the tag agency trying to get a title that said K5.
Blazer "4x4" is the correct submodel.
K5 is not the proper name in some model years.They also had Blazer "S-10" in 1988, not available in 4x4.
I think s10 4x4 was in 89? Anyways.
R and V , C and K , centerbolt valve covers mark the difference.

I shop for 87 Blazer parts... The 88 ones are hard to track down.
