Both companies have great products. Porter built is real high end and CPP is a good product with economy pricing.. I will buy either one as they both do the job they are supposed to do. My question is, PBF has coil overs and CPP has coil springs.SOOOOoooo, for what i want is a smooth firm ride. Not harsh or stiff. Whats going to give me a better ride?? Im thinking coil springs. Im no suspension expert, thats why im asking. I plan to pro tour the truck and plan on long distance driving. So lets hear your input. Here are PBF arms.

I hear ya! I have spoke to both companies. I did not want to ask them this question due to the fact that they would rather give you a reason why their product is best. I dont want to make the wrong decision, PBF is $2200 for the rear kit and CPP is 1400 for the rear kit. But like I said, Ill pay $2200.00 for a good ride. Of course we always like the lesser.:popcorn:

I think both would give you an excellent ride, the coil overs would give you a slightly firmer ride but unless your going to road course the truck I think the CPP coil spring set up will give you the comfort for long rides.

The coil springs shown in the CPP photo are not variable rate and will be bouncy. Variable rate springs ride nice. Factory variable rate springs are the best with tighter coils in the middle of the springs. I've ordered aftermarket variable rate springs and they are not as comfortable as the factory springs. I haven't rode in a vehicle with coil overs, but have traveled many miles on coils, I would go with coils if it were me and find a good set of variable rate coils or have them made. I would suspect both of those systems you posted are not intended for driving long distances but are for trailer princesses. However, the variable rates will make the vehicle capable of being driven instead of being trailered.
