Exterior is red white black and silver
So I may go black base coat and make the chrome on it red with some silver thrown in

Somewhat related... can you plasti-dip interior plastic panels? Or a dash pad?

Yup. anything can be dipped

I just wondered how long it would stick or if it would smooth out the factory grain patterns too much. Guess I'll have to try it.

It's thick so if you can thin it out you should be able to see the factory grain. Prep and it should stick for ever. Just needs a clean dry surface.

I thought about dipping my old Cavalier, they have the glossifier clear as well as metallics. I think they even have a gold flake metallic

Ok so I did a test last night in the bed of it to see how well it peels
2 coats peels but not very well
So I have 3 and 4 coat strips to see how well they peel
I don't plan on pulling it soon but Its for reassurance
Time to get the sand paper out and knock out some rust
