No doubt. That's a pretty touchy area if it gets bad! If it was rockers or something I could let that go for a while but I do not want the roof getting too far along as that can get expensive quick or even ruin the entire truck if it got too far.

Yeah, luckily the rest of the truck is pretty rust free. The only other spot of significance is the bottom lip of both doors. Those aren't bad yet either but it is there nonetheless.

Well it looks like the first step of this project has been decided for me. I was cleaning the truck up earlier in the week (I think Sunday) and I noticed rust starting on the roof along the edge that meets the windshield. So I'll be doing the body work on this truck first and due to expenses at this time I'm just keeping it the stock color scheme but may change it later on down the road per my original "to-do" list. Due to my limited bodywork skills I'll be having a shop take care of this fix as that area is very difficult to do correctly and I definitely want it correct. So I'll be dropping it off at the shop in a couple of weeks.

Really, got to take it to the shop huh? Got a pic of the damage? Is it under the windshield trim?

1. New ball joints and pitman steering arm installed
2. She's officially insured
3. Should have plates on it by next week
4. Goes in for the aforementioned body work a week from Monday

I will be at some point if the right buyer is found. I definitely want the comp/temp mirror and is like to auto down the pass window too

I love my caprice and I will not sell to just anyone. The fact of the matter is I don't have to sell it by any means but I also don't need 4 vehicles. So if the right person comes along with the right price then a deal will get done. I'd be happy to sell the car to Foamy as I know he'll take care of it and the car will also take care of him and his family
