NP241-C, non VSS. Can I convert to VSS or no. No luck!!

I have a Non Vss 241 T/C. For a ls swap I need a Vss on it. I have looked for a vss nose cone or what ever you call it with no luck
Does anyone have a remedy for this? or want to swap a non vss for a vss nose cone? I cant even find used ones for sale. :confused:

This is what I am doing with mine, as I can’t find the rear pieces for a passenger drop 241 (i have a driver’s drop and they are different)

What was the issue with the Dakota Digital VSS generator that Crispy suggested before?

Tail housing

I would go for the kit @vr1967 recommended. I did a homemade version for free but already had the reluctor wheel and sensor and got my tail housing welded for free. That kit wasn’t available when I was trying to figure it out…

I would go for the kit @vr1967 recommended. I did a homemade version for free but already had the reluctor wheel and sensor and got my tail housing welded for free. That kit wasn’t available when I was trying to figure it out…

Got me to thinking now. I still have a driver’s drop parts 241. Wonder if I could 3d print an adapter to go in the original hole? Or machine me one out of aluminum here at work?

2020 holy cow I forgot about that thread. That project never happened. I'm looking at doing a
6.0 with a 4l70E and a 208 since the kit VR1967 recommended works with both T/C 208-241.
