I got some LMTV combat wheels off a m800 series 6x6 5 ton. 10x11.25 pattern for my 5 ton axles under the k5.
. Those are cool, they use the primary shell, the "face plate", and a giant o ring.
When you're mounting a 53 inch tall, 330 pound, 18 ply tire... It makes life 10x 10x 10x easier.
You slip the shell in the opening, grease the o ring groove, slap the o ring in, put more grease down, then stand on the face plate and bolt it down
20 bolts to fasten them together.
Fun as **** to blow it up on the rim with starting fluid too.. Just makes a deep, low gut churning thud when it blows up on the bead.
It's Enough to pucker your butt as it goes up in flames and thuds because it'll either go really wrong and destroy you, or it'll inflate....
