For reassembly, I highly recommend yamabond 4. It is an anaerobic sealer similar to rtv but made specifically for sealing 2 machined surfaces together. I used it when I rebuilt my 241, works awesome! Yamaha and most makes have their own version but it is all the same, a lot of car makers are using it now instead of gaskets. I figured if the stuff can hold together 2 half's of my motorcycle engine, it can hold together a t case

For last few years I use regular permatex black rtv on my bikes and four wheelers and never had problems
Plus it's just convenient to go the 50 yards to oreilly's lol
There was one gear I had a hard time with,
It's the one with the small rectangular pieces in it that are held in with the c clips that the synchronizer slides on
I set my forward output shaft clearance with an extra washer, a little play but not too much
Other than that it all moves well through the levels and neutral
Don't feel any dragging or catching
I guess only a few miles on it will really tell
