My truck came to me on a set of the Ford 16 inch steelies in black

Much better than the other 3 options I have tried on our truck.

Pix of the no-go wheels would kick ass right here..just sayin, they all look the same in the dark!
:pedobear: three more pix?

Boy @SirRobyn0 , I don't remember seeing any 15" wheels on 20 or 30 series pickups unless someone went to a lot of trouble finding the 8 hole 15" wheels? But then I am in a "farm" type town, so most was for clearance and weight carrying.

I could be wrong. I see a lot of square body at the shop but hardly any 67 - 72. I had a friend with a 72 C30, that was very much a stock work truck, I thought it had 15" wheels on it, but I could be wrong it was a long time ago. So I think everyone should take my previous comment, and realize that I maybe miss remembering.

I just went and looked and 15" was an option in 72 C20 & 30, but it appears 16.5 was much more common. Obviously our trucks are a little different from ours. Also what Grit dog says makes good sense, I wouldn't want to put a wheel on that may require grinding to fit. That's a no go to me.

I lied.
I have only had 4 sets of wheels and tires on this thing.
First was the black set of Ford steelies that it came with...

Second was a set of wagon wheels that Max pulled from the junkyard.
I have a severe dislike for them, so they had to go.

Third was a set of chrome modular wheels that were ok, just old and rusty.

Last set is the AR Centerlines and those are the ticket.

Here is a shot with the truck loaded with 2,000 pounds of scrap.
Lowered to about where I want it to be.

@Rusty Nail @Catbox we both know peer pressure is not good. If rusty said jump off a cliff would you do it? Have we learned anything? Both of you go to your rooms, don't come out till you've thought about this.
