Alot of us are driving GMT400 trucks now.

I think they are fantastic! You get cool modern stuff like fuel injection, power windows and parts are still cheap. I just about scored a 97 or 98 K1500 the other day for 600 bucks, all it needed was a transmission tail housing! I got this parts truck for basically scrap prices a while ago.

Man, I want a GMT400 now too. Except mine would be a 2-door Tahoe.

If it wasn't for needing room for the family I would have gone the 2 door hoe route.

You and my friend Jay drive near identical trucks. Funny thing is my friend works in the same train yard as Mr. Clean.

Similar for sure, like to have the hood off of it. Looks like the same tires mine had on it when I bought it.

I love the 2 door tahoes, if it wasn't for me needing the bed I would prob have one. My dad has had 2 of them in the past.

Does anyone know how to fix my wiper problem. They don't stop in the right spot. The are about a 1/4 of the way up when stopped. I changed out the controller but didn't help.

If they're anything like the 94 problem, you'll probably have to replace the circuit board near the wiper motor. Not sure if the 97 is the same system or not. 94's had a common problem and the fix was replace a small circuit board.

Go ahead and replace the motor. I had to do that to my '89. I put in one from a 1999.

Will the newer style swap right out or do you have to do some modifications?
