my 75 k20 with the dana 44 front is missing the inner and outer axle shafts on the passenger side and i domt know what parts to order. i can hear the bearings starting to make noise since they’re been dry so long. the axle is full of fluid somehow but it has a lot of metallic flakes.

what are all the seals and bearings i would need to replace if i’m tearing it down that far?

i’ve never tore down a solid axle before so a little help would go a long way

You have open knuckles. Here's an exploded view of a d44 front. Closed knuckles axles were pre-72 IIRC. see below...

you a download a manual here... https://oljeep.com/gw/d44/Manual_Axle_Service_Dana_44.pdf

I saw someone before had a closed knuckle 75 but to my readings they were not common and it possibly came with a certain combo of options (ratio who knows)

Im glad hes got normal, but the OP doesnt have the oe splash shield. I would verify the year of the diff. there are numbers on the tube and by the cover around the perimeter in spots that can ID the axle to make sure it was original. the reason I say this is you need to make sure its from the right year range so you get the right axle shaft. dont ask why i know :(
