Wow don't come to the Oreilly here in my town, all women but two very young guys. They can't do crap without looking it up in the computer. When I was looking for body bushing for my Blazer, asked them, the girl had no idea what I was talking about, but still wanted to know what size motor.

Never had good luck with anything from AZ, quit shopping there 20yrs ago. Advance stores are much farther away than Oreillys and the close NAPA stores close at noon on Sat. if they are even open. I hate extreme couponing so tracking sales and blah blah so I shop at rockauto, their parts are usually half price of oreillys.

We have ABC Auto here in east texas, that is who I deal with most of the time. If it is something I can wait on, and can order off line I will. I just hate paying shipping

Good Jake...and you? I haven't been on much lately either. They have been trying to kill us at work. I'm off on medical leave of absents at the moment. Feel at work, drove my right knee into the ballast and bruised the tip of my Femur. It's getting me two weeks off, so I have been working on the Mistress a little.

KYB GR2 or KYB Gas-A-Just. The GR2 is a quality OE replacement shock, and the Gas-A-Just is a monotube shock that's a step up. I run the GR2 on my 82 C10, and ran the Gas-A-Just on a 69 C10 and 55 Chevy sedan. BTW, the Gas-A-Just is not manually adjustable, but instead adjusts automatically based on road conditions.

Over here, we are stuck with three parts stores. NAPA, Orielly and Carquest.
At one time, I bought a lot of parts from CQ, until the corp dropped the CQ store over here. It is privately owned and family run, their prices went double on anything, compared to NAPA which is higher than Oriellys.
I did buy a cheap set of Munroe shocks and struts from Oriellys for the wifeys 88 Buick, I dont think they lasted for more then three months. I took those back and they let Me upgrade to a better Munroe for the price difference, and still a lifetime warranty. Old Buick still rides pretty nice on them new shocks and struts.

I try to support my local O'Reilly Auto, but when their prices are 50%-75% more than rockauto.com, it's hard to do. I see where O'Reilly has KYB shocks, but I'd bet they cost at least 50% more than Rock Auto. And that's after adding local sales tax to O'Reilly's price, and adding shipping to Rock Auto's price.

much cheaper than parts houses around here even with shipping tied in i saved 20.00
