Sbc 383 with a roller cam (#12-422-8) and hydraulic roller lifter (#17-5372-16). Noise is present during cold start and dissipates as engine warms up. No noise is noticed after engine is up to 160+ temp.
For reference the motor has less than 5k miles on it and i am using 10w-30 oil and oil pressure is up around 40 while idling.

I will be pulling valve covers today to inspect. I may also replace exhaust header gasket today as well to ensure its no just a exhaust leak.

Any input is appreciated.

Not critical to your issue/question at hand, but your valve cover spreader bars are on upside down.

But to the question at hand, check valves as @DoubleDingo shows, also note if any are loose, loose.

Check your header bolt tightness too, sometimes they loosen up (or gasket compresses) just enough to start leaking, then once heated up seals. Tighten them back up and leak goes away.
