Let me start off by saying I know nothing about lift kits. Have an 83 2WD, stock height, that's my project.

I'm parting out an 87 Silverado V10 shortbox that's been lifted. 4" spacer blocks in the rear, I'm assuming different springs in the front to get the height. Pictures here aren't the best, but it's what I have at the moment.

Frame is rusted in the back with a crack above right wheel by shock mount. Cab is coming off and I'm planning on selling the frame, axles, etc. as I don't need them for my project. Not to just through out the question on what's a crappy lifted frame worth, but what's a crappy lifted frame worth?

I know it depends on the area, etc., but just looking for a ballpark starting point.

Not sure on the springs. But as a complete roller with springs and axles, I'd say around $400.

Thanks. I'm not looking to extract every cent I can, but want to start out at a reasonable price and go from there.

I think I would attempt to sell whole or just part out.

I know alot of people like myself would want the lift to install in a truck or blazer they already have. I also know some guys might need axles just depends on the gear ratios.

I had an old 4 inch kit off another truck years back and listed it for 200 or trade, ended up trading for a fairly complete 73-80 front clip. I could have got a good 6 inch tail th350 trans for it as well.

I would guess list the kit, include shocks, all u bolts, the blocks and the steering arm off the axle if it does have one and it should. Say for 200? or close to it.

I've seen axle prices vary wildly for stockers from like 100-200 a set or even up to like 200-300 per axle or more.

Short box frames are certainly one of the more rare finds. For $400 I would take three of them in a blink.
Around here, shorty 4x4s and 4x crewcabs fetch the biggest bucks followed by any basic one ton 4x4.

The only reason I said 400 was because of the rust. If it were a longbed frame, 200.

If you take them apart throw away the U bolts. Don’t give them to the new owner. ( well maybe one for length reference. ).

teap they vary wildly. I let one go front end for 75 it needed work. I've also seen them as much as 350 and unknown gears for one only.

As for the u bolts thing yes you aint supposed to reuse them but some don't care. it'd also be better to have used to mock it up then have none.

I agree a rusty frame to me is a huge let down it's like nope run away but some guys can patch em up and do it right or easy and not worry.
