Here's my 1985 K10 that I'm trying to restore. Just needs some brake work in the rear, little bit of interior work and also for the a/c to be worked on. It has a 6" Rough Country suspension lift kit, 15x10 Mickey Thompson wheels and 35x15.50x15 Swamper TSL SX tires.

Welcome aboard both of you. I like that color 1985K10, and looks like a good lift/tire size combo.

Like the name Planb. Makes wonder what Plana was. I'm on planV or planW on mine right now, and haven't even got much done to them. Plans always subject to change. You've certainly made that truck your own. A 1 of a kind for sure.

Thanks. It's actually a color that me and my dad somewhat made on our own mixing up two different colors of blue that we had in the garage. It's like a purple/bluish color. I really like it. Anyways, these are the only two pictures I have at the moment. The last picture if more recent, with the new headlight doors and the billet grill which I purchased off of ebay.

Guess you namer her "Ilene" ??? I have to say of all the generations of trucks, I like the 64-66 better. Not a big fan of the knee knocker and the wrapped windshield of the 60-63. The 67-72 I've never really liked at all, but could live with a 67-68 since I like the sleeker hood better. I like the 64-66 even better than 81-91 squares. I wish I'da never got rid of my 64 GMC 3/4 ton with OEM Dana 60 4.56 LSD rear end. Damn, I had so much fun in that truck and had every engine trans combo you can think of it in it. Even Muncie M21 and M22 4 speeds.

I don't have many pics of it since it was before digital cams that I got rid of it. This was when it looked its worst. Had sat for over a year even though it ran fine, but I had a new truck so it got treated like a stepchild, then sold from that spot right there as was. I cried when it drove off and had remorse bad bad bad.

I'm glad to see a fire extinguisher in that one pic, we had a discussion about that about a year or so ago, very good investment. :waytogo: You may never need it for yourself but on the other hand it could save someone else's ass.

It doesnt see as much mud as i would like.Mud around here is not easy to come by. at least mud we can play in. But when we find it and it won't piss off any farmers we jump right in and have fun. i have to stay in good with all the farmers to keep hunting on they're land. in the first pic i didnt even realize the lock outs weren't locked in. miller lite may or may not have had something to do with that. :Moon:

Good Point C4, and while on the topic, if you're dumb enough to not have an extinguisher yourself and someone else uses theirs to save your ****, then at least be kind enough to pay for theirs to be refilled, or if its a disposable, give them enough cash to at least buy them a new one.
