Yeah, I think we all can say that. And to think of the cars I drove over the scale. Unreal. I should have been shot.
This guys is asking 2000. Been trying to talk him down. Says it has a 307 and a good frame.
Way too high on price. Outside of a really tiny motor that's been prettied up, I'm not seeing anything special that makes it a 2k truck.
If it were me, I'd keep looking. It has a small engine, and I'd be very surprised if it actually has a th400 trans. The sheetmetal has seen better days, and he admits it was a wood hauler. I'm betting that it's pretty beat and used up, and that the frame is probably comparable to the rest of it.
^^^Agreed!
Wow that looks like mine same colors before I tore it apart. Mine was all original and with a fuel rejecting 350. Mine cost me 400. So keep looking man. Seriously why would you rebuild a 307 if that is really what it is. Like a 307 is any better then a 305......
Small engine don't scare me. The fact it's a 307 scares me. If it were a 283 or a 327 I'd be interested, but still not at that price. IMO, it's a $1500 truck max and that's if it runs well and very little rust. That 307 power plant hurts that one badly. $1200 truck IMO cuz the motor is a throw away, even the heads and intake are scrap. Throw all that way but the SBC brackets and start over. Jus Sayin'
