Yeah, I think we all can say that. And to think of the cars I drove over the scale. Unreal. I should have been shot.

I think I miss my first the most tho. 64 Impala 2door coupe. 283 with a glide and 3.36s 90 in first gear lol. 4 years later I got a white on white 64SS. Same engine combo but I rebuilt a 348W block for it with a me built glide. That was fun too.

Way too high on price. Outside of a really tiny motor that's been prettied up, I'm not seeing anything special that makes it a 2k truck.

This is what he says:

1978 k10 4x4 for sale . I'm looking for another project and really hate to get rid of it but my loss your gain . It has a 307 sbc with an elderbrock intake Holley double pumper carb, hooker competition headers with thrush 2 mufflers and a th400 transmission . It's pretty rusty but the frame is in good shape and runs and drives good . Has 33' good year wrangler tires . Will entertain trades but if it's anything newer then a 69 modal I'm not interested . It's a very strong running truck motor was built over winter has very few miles on it was used for a wood hauling truck before I got it . I've put some work into it that it needed exhaust and carburetor work and it has fresh autolite plug

If it were me, I'd keep looking. It has a small engine, and I'd be very surprised if it actually has a th400 trans. The sheetmetal has seen better days, and he admits it was a wood hauler. I'm betting that it's pretty beat and used up, and that the frame is probably comparable to the rest of it.

Wow that looks like mine same colors before I tore it apart. Mine was all original and with a fuel rejecting 350. Mine cost me 400. So keep looking man. Seriously why would you rebuild a 307 if that is really what it is. Like a 307 is any better then a 305......

^^^Agreed!

Small engine don't scare me. The fact it's a 307 scares me. If it were a 283 or a 327 I'd be interested, but still not at that price. IMO, it's a $1500 truck max and that's if it runs well and very little rust. That 307 power plant hurts that one badly. $1200 truck IMO cuz the motor is a throw away, even the heads and intake are scrap. Throw all that way but the SBC brackets and start over. Jus Sayin'

Yikes, looking at the pics again, I see the rust, it's also a NP203 truck. $1000 truck max IMO !!! Run from that POS. It's a good donor truck for a 2wd conversion and that's about it. There's just nothing desirable other than the buckets seats and console and those need worked over.

Honestly if I had to choose, I'd probably take the Wee O Five over the Wee O Seven. And everyone knows how bad I hate Wee O Fives.

yeah, I was trying to remember the origins of the 307. Part of me wanted to think it was a car engine, but I seem to recall seeing badging for them on the trucks too?
