In search of shorty headers for my suburban

My thoughts in a perfect world no budget involved I'd have full long tubes on it with a balance pipe and duals in a budget friendly world I'd keep looking for something in someone's garage or look at some C4 exhaust manifolds I'd also look at escalade manifolds, that thought just popped into my mind. There's always Escalades in the Kansas City Pic n pull

To get the real gains - why not use proper long-tube headers ? I consider the effort required to un-bolt iron manifolds worth more than bolting on shortys !

That application listing must be somewhat incorrect. They seem to be meant for a GMT400. I could be remembering wrong, but @Mr Clean maybe installed a set of those and they fit well?

With something like these bad boys, and a better air intake system (breather) i bet i could magically free up alot mo ponies.
The vortec heads are very much like the old Ram Air ****, they need to BREATH. Im restricting them running them stupid stock manifolds on the ex and the factory breather.
The faster i can send cold air in, and blow hot out, the mo powa she'll make.

You can use the link and search around to find ones that are perfect for you.
These seem to have a 1-1/2 ID.
You may be better off finding a set with 1-5/8 ID for better breathing.
I just found the first set that looked correct and posted them up.

I'm pretty sure they will fit into your truck, but you will definitely have to modify your exhaust to fit them. I know at one time (maybe still) there were shorty headers that were a direct replacement for manifolds, but I believe they were for the GMT400 trucks only. But they were so short and the collectors were so abrupt, they probably didn't perform any better than manifolds anyway.
