OK. Here's the results.

Off the battery=
Key on = 12.07v
Cranking= as low as 10.50 volts.

Off the dizzy=
Key on = 12.07v
Cranking= 10.50

So... Motor is pulling down voltage significantly.

I ALSO want to add, if I "prime" the system several times, disconnect the efi completely and let it run off of just what's in the intake... It wants to run.

12.07V is between 25-50% charge... you might want to put it on a tender and charge that sucker up before trying to crank it up. Also make sure you have very good and adequately sized grounds. Also, if you have an extra battery around, you might want to try connecting the EFI to a separate battery on a tender and see what happens.

No offense intended on my part. You admit that you over analyze things at times. I do as well and am a technician for a living! KISS (keep it simple stupid) You will get it running. Now I repeat, asked earlier, have you got spark?

Someone may correct me, but 1.6 volt drop during crank is not excessive

I feel sure I have spark... I can't see why not... I heard it running for like, 2 seconds.

I don't have anyone here to turn the key for me while I check each cylinder for spark.

I'm getting the charger out now, gonna let it charge for a bit. I have done ALOT of cycling the ignition on it since I put it in the truck yesterday.

On that first attempt when I came out here, I hooked it up to the battery directly (efi trigger), I just bumped the starter and the sob fired up and ran for a couple seconds... Then died...

Does that system have a theft deterrent feature?

I'd definitely get it fully charged, then try again. Especially if it cranked right up and then died after a few seconds. I'm not familiar with the Holley EFI... what does it use for fuel delivery? 60psi? dual O2 sensors?

Hahah, that was my first thought too... sounds exactly like what the VATS system will do if not set up properly. Runs for 2 seconds, then shuts off and won't start again. Shouldn't happen with an aftermarket EFI though, right?

Single O2, CTS, 60 PSI from your choice of a pump.

According to the interwebz.... Other people who faced the problem of a brief startup followed by death is due to the tach tignal not being synced to the holley....

I just reloaded the software actually.... Let me. See if the tach is synced up or not.
