Finished lowering my truck last week. I work 12 hour days so I just got around to completing the brakes today. I noticed the calipers were hard to install, thought it was just the new spindles. Got everthing put together and could not get the drivers side to bleed. After trying everything I could think of I noticed that the brake line was pinched.
Because of the higher mounting point of the caliper on the drop spindle the brake line was pinched by the upper ball joint location. I bent the hard line out of harms way and now all is well. I came real close to buying a new caliper thinking it was bad. The new spindles were from thesuspensionsource. So far so good. They were an easy install. Just a few screw ups by the installer. The truck drives straight before a front end alignment. I think I will have to do some trimming on the lower A arms to clear the factory 15" wheels.
