Dielectric grease will work fine!!! The thermal paste was used later on and eventually replaced electric grease. Both will work. Thermal paste is better in the long run. As dielectric grease heats up, turn to more of a liquid in High temps. It does it’s job but at a cost. Thermal paste stays more of a paste in the high heat. That’s why it was used. Longer protection.
