Granger Smith aka Earl Dibbles Jr. father's 74 GMC full restoration videos.

Some of you might have seen these videos before. This was Granger Smith's father's truck. His dad really did drive it around town without a driver's door for several years. The truck was used in many of his videos. One day it didn't start for some minor reason, so he decided it was time for restoration. Original base model truck with I-6 and 3 speed column shift truck. Granger and his buds do a full restoration on it and video the complete restoration.

Another reason for this build is, they can't tour due to COVID 19, so his bus driver and other road crew friends and employees are the ones building it so they have some work while COVID is keeping them from performing.

He's got one channel called The Smiths. It's a family oriented channel where he's opened up his private life with his wife and kids on their new homestead. There's been some very sad tragedy in their lives and it's also all explained on that channel and how they have carried on with loss of a child due to a tragic accident at their previous home.

I can appreciate this build. But I've tried to get into granger smith, music and all, but I just can't. I'm not sure what it is, but it just seems too tv like or something.

It's certainly all about the video's and social media for sure. Seems to be like the Pop country to me. I'm not much of a country music fan. There's a couple of the tow bros that are into the Yee Yee Nation thing. Some of the Earl Dibbles Jr. stuff is a bit funny. I watch those more than anything. I didn't even know about it until the Sqarebody truck videos I watched, then I realized where the tow bros come up with this Yee Yee.

I do like his homestead YT channel though. He's got some good content on there. He's fairly genuine for the most part, but not totally, he has to much going on, so he does have some employees at his homestead.

Watched all 23 episodes, but fast forward quite a bit. Interesting, he quit music, got busy in his local church, and is going to school studying theology. He lost a child I learned, hate to think about it, but he's headed in the right direction for sure.

He also does the After MidNite country radio show, and has for several years now. I don't think the guy knows how to just sit still, he definitely isn't short on work ethic.
