GMC Sierra Grande restoration

Hey guys, I joined this forum since I recently stripped my 1976 gmc 2wd shortbed down to the frame. I look forward to reading lots of posts and gaining as much knowledge as I can about the truck. My biggest setback at the moment is my cab which is full of rust so I am now on the hunt for a rust free southern cab since I live in Seattle and those don't exist up here. Gonna be posting lots of pics of the whole build this spring!

We aren't too far apart. How bad is your cab? Post some pictures. I am not even going to worry about mine rotting out, if you want to drive your truck around here and not have it sit 300 days of the year you should put that money elsewhere let it rust seriously haha! I might know of a cab I see your posting on craigslist. If I buy a truck for the 383 engine and turbo 400 trans I might sell you the cab and clean title I see what you are willing to pay if thats you on craigslist. Maybe we can even meet up together to look at it so we can legitimately agree on you liking the cab first and youll know the price I pay for the truck then we can make a deal. Just a wild idea. You might pay a lot less than you think.
