Got a bit of work to do with installing guides (Going from 3/8" O.D. to 11/32") and oversizing the valves (From 2.06" in and 1.72" ex to 2.19" and 1.88")

Got a used 750 cfm carb off of Facebook marketplace ...
Took it apart for a looksee and cleanup ...
Going to kit it ...

Also got my eye on a four bolt main 454 block ...
Wanting to jump the cubes to 496 inch ..
The motor I have is a two bolt ...
Kind of stockpiling choice parts till I'm ready to build the 496 ..

The 4 bolt block will be bored 0.060" oversize and with the 4.250" stoker crank will net 496 ...

Be blowing the dust off the boring bar when the time comes to punch out the 4 bolt block ...

Found a pump, it got rebuilt and powder coated ..
The SBC motor has a double groove pulley. The BBC required a single groove ..

Throttle cable bracket came in ..
The need was for three cables, throttle, cruise and TPS ....

Do have a super big space heater that stinks the shop up really well ..
