Hi Everyone!
While I'm making plans to replace the rear springs on my 78 3/4-ton (another thread) I wanted to spend a little time looking for replacement parts for the topper I will have on my 85 GMC:
It's a Glasstite cab-height (with a little extra) topper, and I need to find replacement latches and hinges for the rear hatch. I tried a company online, since Glasstite is out of business, but got no reply to my request for information. Thankfully, all the glass is good and I'm sure I can find replacement seals for the assemblies once I get them out (so it can be painted to match the truck). My bet is I can find replacement hatch struts once I get them out and find a competent parts store clerk to do some research. That leaves these two parts: the latches are broken and the lock assemblies are seized up, so I need to find something that will work. Also, the hinges look like they've seen better days as well.
Anyone have leads I can chase down? THANKS in advance for any help provided.
Take Care,
Ken Snyder
