hello I replaced my sending unit and float and my fuel gauge still won’t work.
Does the printed circuit control the fuel gauge?
Thanks for your help

Where is the needle pointing? 3 o'clock is an open circuit (like a broken wire or connection) and 9 o'clock is a grounded circuit.

You probably have a sending unit malfunction. An 89 V35 unit will be $$$.

No, it won't work. You have an open circuit, so it's a broken wire, bad sender, etc. If you can get to it, you can pull the sending unit wire and put an ohm meter between the pin on the sender and ground. If it shows between 0-90 ohms, the sender is working and you have a wiring problem. If it shows open, you have a sender problem.
