Advice on a sway bar for a 1985 k10 with 2” lift
Addco or LMC?
Do I need any special mounting hardware since I have some lift? Anything I should know before installing?
Thnx

Most people here suggest removing the sway bar on a 4x4 and call it a day. But the LMC should be original equipment and will work. Nothing special needed unless you are 4" or higher in lift. That is when binding can be a problem.

Oop, sorry. I missed where it was a 4WD. But still, it depends on your purposes. On the street a swaybar is a good thing, but offroad not so much. Most offroaders use a detachable, since off road, articulation is king. But once you're back on the road a swaybar becomes a good thing again.

Not sure if you had fixed your issues with this but ORD has a Disconnect kit to switch between on and off for on-road and off-road use. AFAIK you use your stock sway bar and attach it to the axle. But it does require a minimum of 2 IN of lift which you do have.
