From your name I'm guessing it's a 72. The frame measurements are in the service manual section 2.

Are you just trying to get it back on the road or is this a vehicle you care about and want done right?

Personally, I'd find a true frame shop, not a bodyshop with a computer, tow it in and let them tram the whole frame. I had it done on my son's and it was about $250 to set-up and $250 to straighten.

Honestly it’s a vehicle that I care about and want done right. I don’t understand how it can look like that measure the same as what the frame dimensions call for. And honestly finding a “true frame shop” would be tough in my area.

The reason. It can measure right and look bent is if both sides have bent the same direction like a parallelogram. I would build a string box center it around the truck, start taking measurements and compare side to side. If you string box it and can't get 3,4,5 in the corners the frame is no longer square.

For finding a shop, look for ones that at least have a pull post AND do restorations. A drive-on frame machine isn't a requirement. You just need to find a shop that can pull frames and has a guy that knows where to measure. Shops that focus on newer collision repair jobs probably won't even give you the time of day.
