Hi I have a TON of questions as this is my first build and I'm just not sure where to even start at. I've always had a love for old vehicles especially squarebody trucks but more of just the look and the sound lol. Now I'm trying to build 1 and need some help and this is the place I was pointed to.
So I guess first off I have a 1979 gmc k25, the frame is shot so I found another 1 it's off an 87 k25. Will this frame work for my project?

The frame horns on the front are a bit different & there are more holes cast into the rear of the frame as well. Seems like some of the forward bed mounts are different too. It will work without much modification though.

Did a frame swap on an 81 gas to an 85 diesel. Had to change brackets for springs and emergency brake among other minor changes. Really nothing to involved.

If needed, making holes in frame material is much easier with a reamer.
