I think that's got an angle built into it, your grill takes a bowtie that's completely flat.

Yeah, that's what I kind of figured. Looking at pictures of the 67s and 68s, they look more flat than I had anticipated.. Oh well.. It was a cool thought while it lasted. :p

I really like the stock chrome/gold emblem.

I really like the stock chrome/gold emblem.

Mine's actually cracked... And I'm a sucker for uniformity. Whenever I do get my K painted, I'm really thinking about going for a Dark red with the Chrome trim with black accents.. The '67-'68 emblem has all of those things.. It looks a lot like the the '77-'79 emblem, as well. I think it may be a bit smaller, too...

With the original logo though, if I were to buy a reproduction, I believe I may could get myself some black nail polish and fill in the indents along the borders of the emblem, then get a dark red vinyl decal to place over it... I personally think it'd turn out nice. :p

But you're right.. The stock chrome and reflective gold is pretty much.. I took mine off my old grille and have it drilled in my head rest at the head of my bed.

I bet you could buy a new reproduction of the original, and paint the gold with transparent red paint, then clear over it for nice gloss.

Damn. Guess I better start keeping an eye out for a hydraulic clutch pedal setup locally. Sure don't want to pay that price if I ever get around to a nv4500 swap.

Suburban window switches, 1985+ wiper switch and 1984 down wiper switch.

I have to disagree to a point, YES Suburban door panels, early 83 still had wiper switch on the dash, and it looks like cruise on the column. I might be wrong, I have seen two early built before 4-83 with wipers on the dash.

Lmao, I didn't even notice the suburban door panels before. Good eye retro. Maybe he has power wing windows. Lol
