Im pretty sure the actual needle needle ones are meant for that. Like smaller than the one pictured. Then the one pictured pushes into a springshut orifice that allows you to pump in but removing the needle closes it. It’s how you do a double cardan I thought?I think the needle looking tips are for piercing the rubber seals around whatever joint you want to lube..........BUT that's NOT a good idea, first it's not gonna get to the ball and socket and second you are putting a hole in the seal and compromising the joint
