Just for the record......I dumped the idea of using my spare tank to carry gas and will just take a few 5 gallon cans. I don't like messing with the cans because of all the safety stuff that causes them to drain slow and leak on my hands and feet but I will not be doing it enough to follow through with that idea.

Menards has 6 gallon gas cans with two handles (rear, top) a simple new nozzle and a vent installed on them will make a sealed, leakproof, and quick pouring, and spark arrested fueling.
A large diameter neck will allow a lot more quick gas filling but you can’t use it in a fuller neck with a reducer(stock unleaded trucks filler necks)
A diesel or HD(leaded) neck will allow higher flow.
