I was just saying it so you could tell how big it is compared to stock.
Was just throwing it out there.

Well, it's obviously got some overlap or you'd be at least double that.

Well, it feels like my trans is skipping first gear. At a stop I preload the converter and launch, it starts in first, but then imediatly hesitates and kicks to second, i know it goes to second cause after that theres only 1 shift. But when i go manual i get all 3 gears pulling hard.

And it sucks not knowing how fast your turning going down the road, she kept wanting to keep climbing, but i had no clue how fast she was rapping. That and the front tires are questionable.

You have way too much tire for a small block, that's the problem. You should trade me, I can't keep traction even in second lol

Ahh, so now you know what a tach does on a V8 when it's set to 4cyl instead of 8 cyl.

 yea, it makes it look alot more impressive. You rapp a hell of a lot quicker XD.

omg..... this car just keeps getting more and more parts.......
Took it back over to the local blacktop, and was playing around leaving black marks. Well on my way home i stopped at a neighbors house and was talking to him, i left the car running during this time. Well i went to leave and it idled down when i put it in gear, and stalled befor i could pick it up. So i went to start it and (turns over) then schhhhhhhhhh. Teeth were grinding. So ended up having dad come get me with my truck.

Got it home, crawled under. And theres 2" of teeth that the tips are gone. So aparently i had very little gear mesh befor, and being warmed up and advanced, it decided to just shear the teeth tips off.

So now its most likely gonna get a new flex plate, then im GONNA make sure it meshes with lots of bite.

Change of plans, instead of wasting time changing flexplates, I just shimed the starter to bite harder.

I can always put in a new plate when i add my convertor, at idle in gear the engine is fighting the convertor cause its such a low stall. The cam wants a 2400-2600.

So what mufflers are you going to go with? And can't you just do the exhaust yourself, I thought it was going to end at the axle?

Im gonna have a buddy at the exhaust shop do it. Hes gonna bend me the pipe and weld it all together and charge me what he would get it for. And its gonna be true 3", i just want it as little restriction as possible. I COULD do it, but Im kinda a perfectionist and if its not even, it would drive me crazy. Hes also a good friend and i want to give him more business.

Originally I wanted to Have homemade purple hornies
Then i wanted to shoot it out infront of the tires.
And now im just going to dump it in front of the axle.

Im going with Glasspacks.

I was looking at flowmasters, but i just came to the conclusion that i hate the raspieness. The only thing i like about them is idle. When you give it throttle they sound tin-eee(not sure how to spell it.

Flowmasters are not raspy, glasspacks are about as raspy as it gets. Don't get me wrong, I like glasspacks, but they are raspy. They will sound better with a 350 if you keep the pipes at 2.25 though.
