Those SunPros are fairly good for the money. And I always like full sweep gauges for Oil and Water. Volts isn't as critical so it's all good.

I agree, sunpro's been around for YEARS. They had this set and 3 other styles, it came down to this one and the other black with black faces, this one stood out more cause of the full sweep. I wanted a more precise oil guage and temp guage.

Honestly, I didnt need any of them, my guage cluster has all 3, but I preferr mechanical guages over electric anyday.(excluding tach, i have to run electric there lol)

I've always had aftermarket mechanicals with my own pilot idiots lights on my hipo vehicles. Didn't want to trust the OEM wiring. Usually used the Deluxe Series Stewart Warner gauges. They're now considered Vintage.

You've got some tuning to do. And I do believe it's running rich. Get it dialed in, and it's going to sound better than that.

yea, the carb was trying to flood out, the needle kept wanting to stick.
This q-jet just has to run good enough untill i can get my holley put together.
Between the exhaust and the timing set, it was hard to hear the rockers, so we need to get a set of slip on mufflers to be able to set lash better. Its close but not 100% perfect.
I was wanting to dump it in front of the tires, but i think i might settle with dumping it befor the axle.

650 DP Mech secondary. And im gonna convert it to mechanical choke.
