Operator error, or the installers fault either way you look at it!

I could rarely hear one in the cab either over the rumbling exhaust, but if someone is outside the vehicle, they hear it just fine. Not sure if your's is that way or not.

Wasn't that an old Pete Jackson gearset?

I got some no-name gearset off ebay. Its suposed to be noisey. When i had those ruber exhaust hoses hooked to my headers to divert the sound it was more present, so hopefully when i get my exhaust it will be louder, and hopefully when i finally put the hood on it will mabey echo it.

If this is aimed at the starter/flexplate, i take full blame.

I mean you're not hearing your timing set over the open headers, and that's your fault!

So do you know if the hood will clear your air cleaner? Looks close from here.

Your Both right XD......

All that chevy power couldnt be contained..

But nah, the hood hasnt been put back on yet cause i kinda like it this way, but it will got back on befor i start driving it on the street officially.

And bucket: Im wondering the same thing, the hood slightly raises in the middle, if you look at the nose you can see it. The old intake cleared it with this same carb/air cleaner setup, so as long as the carb height is the same, IT SHOULD FIT. If not, ill drop the filter another size. Right now its either 14x3, or 2. I think its 3, so then i would drop it to a 2.

And stewzer: I like the Roadkill reference

A few updates:
1.crossmember is done and in the car
2. Hood is back on and adjusted to sit right.

My little brother kept saying that i should name it, so I have come up with a name. "Melba Toast"

And the downside right now, I cant get in for exhaust untill next week.
