Wait, I just re-read your post about the paint. Which deluxe scheme are you referring to? The bottom color comes up to the same spot but the finish of the door jambs may be slightly different. My truck is the bottom Exterior Decor Package

My understanding is that GM painted the secondary color with no masking, then masked with butcher paper and sprayed the primary color. To some extent the masking job was up to the guy with the paper and tape that day.
This is correct.

Additionally, the stripes had a clear mask over the top of them. They were applied directly to the primer and formed the top border of the two tone.

If asking about the door alignment it appears close enough to me. These trucks were not built to the same standards as vehicles today. Panel alignment during assembly was not great.
I asked my 85-year-old friend, who has been an autobody man since his late teens, if I had my doors right. He asked if they both closed and if there was wind noise. I told him that the doors stay closed, don't rattle and I don't hear wind noise over the exhaust. "Then the doors are good enough", is what he told me...

Anyone have a picture of the rocker arm and lower part of fender where door mates up? I’m painting the 80s deluxe two tone.

Not sure what you’re looking for. This is the best side pic before trim that I have.
If you’re looking for the height of the split between the 2 colors, it’s slightly below center on the gas cap lid. Then use a body line for reference measurements everywhere else.
When I did the blue truck. I took a pile of pics with measurements and then realized that picking 1 number and sticking with it was all I need. Everything was measured up or down from the upper body line.
Only caveat is the front half of the front fender for the upper line (doesn’t matter in your case since you’re only doing lower). It fades down toward the front and the paint/pinstripe line should as well. This location varies a fair bit even in OE pinstripe off the production line.

Thank you Todd, I'm trying to figure out what the top of the rocker panel looks like and the inside lip of the fender where it mates up to the door.

I like those wheels better than your steelies, which look great too.

I have pics, but the body side molding is in place. Not sure if that will help.

The tops of the rockers are the light blue main color of my truck, that is also how the whole hinge pillar is painted

The fender has the dark blue wrapped around and just kinda haphazardly sprayed like the backside of the door. But it's just like the outside of the truck, light blue top and bottom, dark blue in the middle. The light blue on the bottom keeps the same line as the trim. Just can't get a picture of the bottom.
