Finally, been wanting to cut that piece out for a while. If I ever build another one of these, the body is getting taken plumb off first.
Hope to get this rear end out, and the ford 9 inch fit up ad going back in this weekend.

9 inch is apart and cleaned up. Building on the parts to get it hung.

Have a 5.8 set of gears and spool to go in it. And a line on a 327 to power the old girl. Fingers crossed.

9 inch is fit up. Will take it out to weld it up. Waiting on some parts to do so, it ain't in the way where it is.

The fuel cell cage is finished up. And a bumper is bent, time to get more parts and materials.

The front end parts are on, except the rubber brake lines which should come in today.

Only needed 2 tie rod ends, all else seems good, has new shocks.

Odd I had a 43/64 drill bit for the 5/8 studs. Had to mill flats for the studs to seat flat.

Front bumper and little sheet metal nose is fabbed up and on.

Rear bumper and tailgate is built, gutted and on.

Little revamp work on the front hoop. Scored a set of 461's. Looks like brand new valves, springs and retainers. Will get them apart and see. It's cold and windy and time for a nap.
