when the squeaker gets close to hitting, the squeak is intermittent. at this point if the noise is coming from the front brakes change them. some of the fancy dancy ceramic brakes squeal. also if you rotors and pads are glazed they can make noise. highdesertranger

Front brakes are so ridiculously cheap on these things. I would just change the pads and be sure to clean the calipers well and even apply some brake grease to the slide pins. if the boots for the caliper piston are cracked or really aged looking I would change them as well.


There so cheap its just a no brainer to change em out when needed.

Last time I did them front pads and calipers cost me like $160 including tax. That was with the premium pads!
