my old man needs that clutch pedal setup to throw in his truck and make it 4 speed, that's what I'd do to it. I need to see if he wants it. If so can you get the frame bracket off yours too? They rivet on i think.

I'd really have to talk myself out of that trans, convert my 88 to stick shift lol, but then I'd need to reuse my t-case for speedo and find some clutch junk to make it work.

I'd be interested in pretty much everything but the trans, but I don't know when I'll be passing through next, so I don't want to commit, lol. Basically, I just wanted to get the word out in case some of it were to end up getting scrapped.

Go ahead and sell that clutch linkage to one of them. Chances are the Bell Housing won't work anyway. Looking at the backside, I"m not seeing enough meat to tap into. I probably really ought to stick to the hydro system with the health ailments anyway even though I don't want to. I just prefer manual linkage, cuz I've shifted hydro fast enough I've floated the slave and got air in the system. I don't need to be doing that **** with this A833 set up anyway. It's not a race truck, it's an off road truck. Besides, if i do, with the wide ratio, I'm not going to be going thru the gears as fast like a close ratio Muncie. Hydro should work fine if i can figure out where to cut the hole in the firewall.

So I asked my bro where that was again that he gets near when he goes to PA. He takes I 70 all the way through. It's Wheeling, West Virginia and Washington, PA that he gets to. If he was ever able to do some parts moving, he'd want to meet at some Travel Stop right off I 70.

A good buddy of mine lives in Waynesburg, Pa, he travels that highway all the time and also goes to Cabela's in Wheeling I think he said....

That's quite a ways up the road from me. Never been to Wheeling as a matter of fact. :(

Eh, you said the same thing about the e-fans, but those ended up working out didn't they? At any rate, if it were me, I'd hold onto everything anyway just in case you could use it for another project.

Yep, you never know if you might find a A833. You'd have to find a bellhousing but you have everything else t to make it work as far as clutch and brake pedals.

BTW, anyone know if clutch and brake pedals matter for Z bar manual linkage and hydro. Obviously the push rod and linkage are different, but what about the hanging apparatus and the pedals themselves?

No offense, but I don't want to hear about your hanging apparatus! :roflbow:

It fell outta my sock and has a little road rash at the current moment, but I'm used to it now. Happens all the time. Be good as new in couple days !!!

:roflbow:

The hydro setup uses a different pedal assembly.

Figured as much, so I need to find a donor 84 or newer for clutch pedals.
