...thinkin about gettin on this one tho. Since thats all ive have done is the little bit of electrical on these. http://www.bismanonline.com/76_gmc_suburban

That first one for $950 is rare for Burb and manual trans, but I see some rust over the fender.

This 2nd one for $800, If the tires are 75% or better, the tires alone are worth $800. The body does appear to be straight and little to no rust of hiding it wll in the pics. I'd prolly go for the 2nd $800 black prmered one. It'll be a Th350/NP203 Combo with 12 bolt rear, Dana 44 front.

i just talked to the guy on the second one, he said the guy he got it from rinolined the whole truck not primer lol, and it has a lift wasn't sure but looks like 2", motor might be after market 350. he said he cant get power to the starter, so he replaced the ignition switch but didn't help. Also hasn't ran in 4 years, but has bucket seats and a/c but looks like its missing the pump and what not.

Sat for 4 years? I like the rhino lined body part though. Those buckets are not OEM. Might have some work to do to get that one running after sitting 4 years. For sure drain the tank and fresh gas. Check oil level, check coolant level. Hopefully it had antifreeze in it this whole time and didn't crack the block. After getting it running and letting the oil getting good and hot and melt down as much gunk as possible I'd change the oil before I did much more than a few runs around town.
Crossing the solenoid with a screwdriver bypasses all that PN switch and all that.

I'd say you're about right. Get it running decent. Have it safe, sound and sanitary and $1600 should be a reasonable price.

Of course I'm sure you mean cleaned up rather than detailed huh? Detailing is proabably not necessary to really detail a truck like that to get your price.

I actually didn't think the grill was all that bad. Of the aftermarket grills I see, I would have to say that's one of the best, and it damn sure is better than those grills that go over the headlights. (WTF are they called, I'm wanted to say ghost, but that's not it). I would take a truck like that and it would be doing 11's in the 1/4. I'm not one for lowered trucks but If I had a drag truck, I would do a 2/4 on it for the purpose of being quicker, better traction and less wind drag, not for looks.
