taxes for these trucks are nothing only $6.00 a year plus registration and tags plates cost $15.00 from standard up to 30,000 pound or farm plate.

plus YOU are required yearly to pay them when you renew your tags and registration yearly.even if you drive something else and leave your other vehical parked and never drive it you must pay taxes and registration for it otherwise they will not give you your registration for your DD

Someone in Cali was just given, or inherited a Square that hadn't been tagged in a few years. I think it was $1200 he said to bring the tag up to date.

FUGGG, when in broke, i find the truck of my dreams on cragslist. :(

Does anyone know what years have the full convertible top built into the top that comes off? I like the removeable top, but I do actually prefer where it keeps the front seats covered and just the back is opened up. Would also seem safer to me. I wonder if that's why GM changed it.

1973-75 - full top

1976-91 - 2/3 top

Fixed it for you. I think I'd prefer to the 2/3 top which is good since I prefer an 89 up model. I can hang out in the sun anymore than I need to be.

RE: your ad on Craigslist for the truck,
The ad say the outside is in “purfect” condition and the inside is “mint”. What exactly is the difference between the two?
I’ve never heard of a Chevy having a 450 motor. Can you tell me where you got it at and some more info on it.
I’m not sure what 3500 means either. Maybe that’s how much horsepower it makes?

Out side is perfect no scratches, or dents. inside is like new. No stains or damage of any kind. The engine is a 454 and the 3500 is the size. It is a one ton. My husband was a perfections with his truck so it was always kept in shape. Just had some work on the brakes and has all new filters and oil pump. So there is nothing wrong. We just don't need it any longer.
