Yep, even the 1 tons will bend behind the cab. This is why when GMT800 came out, the frames were hydroformed I believe it's called. Actually very strong even though it appears to be 2 pieces. It actually sorta is.

And our frames are so flexy, they really can't be bent, lol.

I thought so. Here's the Wiki on GMT800 frames. They are actually 3 piece frames. Good luck getting the pieces apart though. I"m sure it can be done though.

The GMT800 introduced a three section frame system, which could be mixed and matched depending on the wheelbase, GVWR, and body type fitted to the platform, rather than a single piece long frame. The front section was hydroformed. The middle and rear sections were roll formed or stamped, depending on application. This gives greater flexibility to the platform. A total of four front modules, seven midsections, and four rear sections were created to mix and match for nearly 40 different truck configurations.

OOOhhhhh, so all you have to do is put the words "Street Couple" on the side and it becomes one. I get it now.
