Not positive, but I think those are military tires. They'll beat the hell outta you and your truck. Not really all that sought after and usually avoided. If you can find someone selling them, usually you can find military tires cheap. They are usually older too and some dry cracking too. Still good for nothing but a mud or trail truck at low speeds.

Ground Hawgs, great tires but they're not produced anymore. Once those are gone they're gone!

They are also a very tough tire that really isn't going to become unsafe over time, even with dry rot.

Then I guess someone will be getting a good deal. Those kids at the shop had mentioned Ground Hawgs too, and I wasn't sure what they were but couldn't find where they were sold, so that makes sense now.

I guess someone will be getting a good deal then.

They were produced by Super Swamper and I'm sure they still get 5,000 emails and calls a day asking when they're going to start making them again lol. Long-lasting tire, wore great on the road, directional tread (good or bad is personal taste). I think Sean1960 still has them on his big mudder...

That's actually very easy to fix, all you need is a good floor jack, a method of tying the rear frame/bumper to the ground, and a couple heavy buddies.

Those trucks seem to fold real easy if they are overloaded and hit a few good bumps in the road.

Yep, even the 1 tons will bend behind the cab. This is why when GMT800 came out, the frames were hydroformed I believe it's called. Actually very strong even though it appears to be 2 pieces. It actually sorta is.
