I'd say that all depends how took the doors off. If he cut the harnesses, Fugg it, I'd pass. If he took the time to unplug the harnesses under the dash and carefully pull them thru the kick panell and all of that, then i'd say do it. But the other thing to think about, is why is he swapping to manual? That tells me they probably didn't work for whatever reason, bad motors or what not. Hell, if they are good sheet metal and glass, maybe take the doors and the $20, then put the power doors on CL. Most people looking for doors are looking for good sheet metal, and can always swap their manual regulator into the door if the need to swap out.

i text him, he said the wires are hanging there on the driver side, lock and window not working, he said he bought it like that. passenger side locka nd window both work. even if only one side works, should be worth more that the two manual doors right? plus the 20 to me should make it worth it. ive been wanting power doors on my step, if they dont work ill sell em. sounds good to me. thanks for the info

I'd do it just for the $20 since you're interested in seeing what all is involved to convert to PL and PW. I can tell you, you'll have to get antoher main harness from a Silverado out of the junk yard. It's the one that will go from your fuse box to the under the dash with 2 plug-ins, one goes to the left door, one goes to the right door. Then the harnesses off your doors are routed thru the kick panel behind the glove box and under the instrument cluster, to this main harness that goes to the fuse block. A bit of a hassle, but it can be done. I'd suggest going to a Pull a Part type lot and pull one apart, then you'll KNOW what to expect and how to route the hanresses, but it should be all plug in and fairly easy to do. You'll have to pull your fuse block off the firewall to plug into the back of it though.

I've been looking at duallies lately and I think this one has potential but seeing the obvious ****-ups, I'm scared to see what else I would find!
