Got it home yet? I wonder if the trans OEM since it was a I6 or did someone swap from a 700r4 to a Th350,

If it has 3.73, they are not original. Original would likely be 2.73 or 3.08 depending on GVWR and tire size. 3.08, most likely since it's a LWB.

The TH350 was available with the I6 along with the 700r4.

I once had a 81 short stepper custom deluxe with a straight 6/TH350, no air, manual windows. Oddly it had dual tanks though.

Woo Hoo, I got one on Retro. :worship: Makes the score now 102-1. Toadja !!!

But, I know Retro is right. Most I6 trucks were very few features. I just know the chrome mirrors, rallies, two tone and Silverado were telling me it has PW & PL amd probably has Tilt and Cruise too.

No RPO code sticker in the glove box???

I looked briefly (they had a ton of junk in it) but only saw the camper loading sticker in there. Gotta go pick up a trailer/truck to haul it home with. My co-worker that has a trailer is out of town, so I'm gonna u-haul it.

I'll pull the diff cover when I get home to change the gear oil, and I'll count the teeth and see what ratio it is. I was under the impression that they geared I6s lower, but I could definitely be mistaken. You and retro definitely know more about these trucks than I do. :D I didn't even think to check if it had Tilt or Cruise, probably does though.

Dayum what a score:wave:

TY. Really hoping it is 3.73s, but I could live with 3.08s being it's a TH350 and I do a decent amount of highway driving.

I do love mah' green grass. It's a buttload of effort and money to keep it that way, though.
