That 81 Lifted 3/4 ton with new motor isn't to bad other than it's a rust bucket. The motor alone is $1500 or more if you were to buy a GM crate 350. Try to work him down some for the rust cuz you know you're likley to have to pay someone to fix it. And don't forget the one on here in NC. How far is that from you?

Its 6 hours from me for the one in NC. Why would pay someone to fix the rust?

Try typing in just "Chevy Truck" or "GMC Truck" and you'll get better results. The way you're searching you're missing all the ones that put the "19" at the front of the year in their ad and could be missing some good ones.
I have to make multiple seaches to find them all.
I click "entire post" and "image" then search these names indavidually
chevy
chevrolet
c10
gmc
swb

If you feel confident about doing bodywork, cutting and welding, then you don't have to pay anyone. I myself am going to be looking for someone who does body work who might need some motor and transmission rebuild work done and trade vehicles for a couple weeks. I do his mechanical rebuilds after he buys parts, he does my bodywork after I buy the parts and supplies. Just trading labor. Maybe you can trade some lawn mowing work, or a riding mower that you have next to nothing in for some body work. :grd:

I'm confident I can do body work. I know I good at cutting shaping metal and drywall. But I know there's more to it than just shaping metal in body work.

No drywall.

Ohhh, I thought I seen drywall in that post. I can cut S's and any shape you want out of drywall in nothing flat, but not so much with metal. :birgits_tiredcoffee

I meant I'm good at cutting shapes out of drywall when doing drywall work.

I so want that 1 1/2 ton military squarebody. I'd put that wreckerbed on it down at the junkyard.

Im not a thief but if I dont find one of these for a decent price I am going to steal one right out of someones ****** driveway.

:High 5: Nab one for me while you're at it. I've only ever seen one of those and its in pieces behind someones house. They took the motor out and put it in something else :bawl:

I think that's to much for the CUCV. I've seen them in better shape for $3500-$4000. Many sellers of those CUCV's are buying them in lots of 10 for about $2000-$2300 a piece then selling them for a $1000 - $1500 profit. I've often thought of getting a pool of guys here together and all of us as a group bid on a lot of 10 then divy them up as fair to everyone as far as condition and the amount of cash someone paid. I'd like to have 2 myself at those prices. One for me, and one for resale to make some of my cash back. It would be cool to get 2 for $4600, then sell one for $3500 then I got mine for $1100. That's the way I like to roll. :grd:

Is it still behind this persons house? If you tell me they scrapped it I will go punch a hole in my wall.

Seriously, will drive to Kansas with a car trailer for my own 454SS. Retro was teasing the **** out of me with one a while ago he had in Texas. I had my cousin Keefer on standby with a car trailer, even had my wife talked into it......:roflbow:

I did not exactly talk her into anything, I just explained that if its a 454SS truck or a Delorean I can afford I CANT NOT buy it.
