Exactly what I was thinking, put my 1-ton stuff and lift on it, 1/2 ton stuff on my pickup and sell it. Been lusting for a K5 lately and that one looks like a great starting point.

I'm sure it could pull whatever his Burb would pull. Just wouldn't have the saggy ass cuz it's a shorter wheelbase. I'd rock the **** outta that. The interior looks great. I'd expect some rust issues in places.

Rockers look bad, and yeah I'm sure there's other issues, usual wear items like front end parts, brakes, maybe rusty tailpan or fuel system problems if it has sat without a motor for a while but still a good price IMO. Nothing I couldn't handle for 8 Benjies. Maybe less I bet.

I was thinking that too, I'd offer $600 and see what happens. WE KNOW to expect things wrong, but I'd sure pick those thing apart in a walkaround and make light of them, then offer $600. If he has good title and it's not a fortune and a mega ******** to get it legal, I'd be all over it for a 700r4 trade.

I downloaded the pics and zoomed in, the pics of the exterior are from 7/10/11 and the interior pics are from 1/22/12 so they're fairly recent, shouldnt be in much worse shape that you see there. MAN I wish I could come up with the scratch for that. And a trailer to haul it home with.

Bummer it's got a Wee O Five or I'd go for $750 even though it's not a Silverado and needs a trans. Prolly still worth the $750, but I'd have to offer $600 and see what happens. Being a TX truck, maybe not aloto of rust. Someone down South oughta take a look at it. I'd drive down to see if I had the cash and had a good idea that he'd take $600 and offset my fuel expense, and see my sone while I was down there.

Thats worth parts/tires/rims alone.....2k later for a 350 and you have a good K5 potentially.

No doubt it's worth it, I'd just feel better with $600. I nornally like bells and whistles too like PW, PL, Cruise, etc, but for what I'd want a K5 for, I think I can do without the Silverado package and hope for a rubber floor mat. I actually like rubber floor mat over carpet even in th Silverados. That makes 2 K5's I've seen on CL in the last 2 days that were worth getting. Not close to me though.

SUNUVABITCH !!! DAMN !!!, I have a 700r4 core. I'd build him a nice trans for that K5 !!! **** !!! Why does it have to be so damn far??? :shitsweak::shitsweak::shitsweak: Dammit !!! That one is everything I want in a K5. 84 or later, 89 is even better, TBI and MiniQuads, 4x4, Buckets, and Gray interior. !!! FUGG !!! All I have to do is add my 8 lug axles and roll with it.

There must be a reason "Parts" is in the title, the tail gate looks rotted too in the bottom middle. I paid $800 for this Burb 3 years ago this month. I have to run it until it disintegrates after all this work I have done to it, nobody would buy this truck from me.
