There is a GMT400 steppie close to me I may go look at tomorrow...........1989 GMC...It's white so maybe it was a pace truck.

Nope, it was never part of the Camper Special... it included stuff like rear sway bar, heavier springs, camper wiring, etc. I do know the wood bed was still available then.
Are those 15x8? I know the ones used on the regular trucks were only 15x7.

Yep 15x7 and came stock in the 454ss trucks. I too want the Limited rims and still have my eye some potentially for the '77.
